The weekend went very well, the weather was good, and the views from the site were outstanding well worth the travel to our most northerly rally of the year. We managed to have a small gathering on Saturday night and kept social distancing
Good weekend had by all despite very mixed weather. Hot one minute and then heavy showers the next.
Cracking rally this weekend at this venue, near Northallerton, which is ideal for fishermen. One of our members caught his first ever course fish. Well done.
Weather could have been kinder but does not deter the hardy ones. Some lovely view down by the river.
Great Rally here at Bradley Burn Farm, Wolsingham. Lovely views of the countryside. Some of our members visited the Antiques Barn and managed to secure a bargain.
Another successful rally at the weekend, 7 units in attendance, and a good weekend was had by all, even with the wind.
Another successful rally at the weekend, even
though it was slightly damp !!! It was hoped to have a really good if not belated ( thank you Covid19 ) celebration of the clubs 50th anniversary but due to various reasons only 10 units turned up for the event, but despite the weather etc we did manage to have a small gathering ( social distancing observed ) of club members to celebrate 50 years of our club.
A small ceremony was held and we had a great raffle, thanks to all who donated prizes and monies were raised for the clubs nominated charity.
2021 RALLY PROGRAMME
Happy & Safe New Year to you all.
Just a quick update on whats happening about our 2021 Rally Programme.
As you will all know we are currently in the midst of this horrible Covid19 pandemic and the current lockdown and Government rules are making it difficult to make any definite arrangements for this years rallies. We have quite a full programme of dates arranged already but due to the current situation and concerns and changes by landowners it is proving difficult to publish our Rally Booklet, and also fix a date for the AGM. It has been proposed that we just wait and see what happens regarding lockdown and when we can go rallying again, we can then publish a list of dates and venues, although a provisional list will be published in the next few weeks so we can get marshalls etc. but this of course is all dependent on government restrictions etc. We look forward to seeing you all at a rally sometime this year.
STAY SAFE AND WELL.
